Glendale Gets Bigger…and It Won’t Stop There

Phoenix (September 17, 2010) — The Glendale City Council approved an annexation of 200 acres after working for three years with the federal government to do so. This annexation will increase the encroachment protection of Luke Air Force Base, allow an existing McDonald’s restaurant to be razed and redeveloped with a new prototype of McDonald’s, eases the ability to develop Northern Parkway Commerce Center, and incorporates property that Glendale purchased to install water lines.
