Karen Keith

As a strategic consultant, Karen Keith’s expertise is in the analysis and problem-solving side of the development process.  Karen uses her 14 years of combined public and private sector experience to solidify Livability Law’s wide range of expert services.  She plays a key role in the preparation of land entitlement requests and serves as a liason between clients and public sector staff in the development review process to ensure compliance with local planning, zoning and development ordinances and design standards.

Karen graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Urban Planning and Minor in Political Science and was named the Outstanding Senior in Planning in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design.  She is a member of the American Planning Association and was certified by the American Institute for Certified Planners (AICP) in 2002. 

Karen also devotes a great deal of time to local non-profit organizations where she co-founded the YMCA Youth Leadership (“Y2L”) program for the Southwest Valley YMCA Teen Action Council, co-chaired the West Valley’s premier black tie gala, the “Diamond Ball” and was recognized as the West Valley Arts Council’s Volunteer of the Year. Karen is a graduate of Leadership West Class XII and currently serves on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee.  She was recently appointed to the City of Goodyear Board of Adjustment.
