Shaine Alleman

medium smiling arms folded  300x217 Shaine AllemanAs the senior planning consultant for Livability Law, Shaine focuses on real-world planning and development needs with state of the art urban planning practices.  He was the first planner in Arizona to earn certification in form-based codes and is an expert in his field.  He plays a key role in providing innovative solutions for land entitlement processing, preparing zoning ordinance and code standards, long range policy and site development planning.  His unique experience in working with a wide variety of commercial and mixed-use projects, planned area districts and infill developments, makes Shaine an integral part of Livability Law.

After earning his B.A. in Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton, Shaine went on to earn his Masters in Environmental Planning, with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning, from Arizona State University.  He is currently enrolled in the Phoenix School of Law with an academic scholarship, anticipating graduation with a Juris Doctorate in 2012.

Shaine is a member of the American Planning Association, Arizona Planning Association, Urban Land Institute and Congress for the New Urbanism.  He is considered an Arizona go-to expert in form-based coding and the future direction of regional and local land use and planning.
