Parkway Village

A mixed-use commercial development at it’s finest, Parkway Village is a main street epicenter lined with restaurants, offices and retails stores. Allied West obtained the Goodyear property in 2005 and came to Livability Law practice for guidance on how to best greenlight their vision. Parkway Village is a reality of years of vision and multi-tiered cooperation.

Located on the southwest corner of Estrella Parkway and Roosevelt Street, the property is in the heart of the Overlay District, an area with stringent land use, landscape and architectural standards. The challenges and timing for this project were crucial, and with a four-story Comfort Suites Hotel thrown into the mix, it was a project full of firsts. We had approval for zoning and subdivision plats well before anticipated which allowed further focus on the required Use Permit needed for what was the tallest building at the time, the Comfort Suites. Today, this village-like property is thriving and literally paved the future for Goodyear’s downtown City Center.
